Beginnings
It’s super easy for me to say that I grew up in real estate. I have memories as a kid driving around with my mom to pick up keys as early as age 5 (before lockboxes!) and assisting her with open houses by the time I was 15. I remember when she would bring home giant books with MLS houses for sale to search through page by page for her clients. Yes, this was before the internet and interior photos, and yes, I’m officially old!
After years of watching my mom build her successful real estate business, I decided to follow in her footsteps and earn my real estate license after graduating from NKU in 1999. My mom, Debby Schwartz, and I then joined forces to create a mother-daughter real estate team (go team!). We worked together for 21 years and helped hundreds of families buy and sell real estate before her well-deserved retirement in 2020.
I feel very blessed to have been mentored over the years by one of Northern Kentucky’s most respected and successful Realtors. She weathered a lot of changes in real estate over her 40+ year career. One of the most important things she taught me is to stay current with trends and marketing – continuing education is essential to long term success! And even more importantly, she taught me the value of putting her clients’ needs first…the rest will follow.
